There is no better way to admire the underwater life than to be a guest in their environment. Most Ship 238 members are certified divers and many are very experimented ones. Nothing takes second seat to SAFETY and continuous education is a requirement.

Since June 2009 9 Scouts have been certified as Junior Open Water Diver, One Scout and One Adult as Open Water Diver and one Adult as Advanced Open Water Diver. All in strict adherence to the PADI diver training program run by Instructor Dennis Metzger. Fellow Adult leader of Ship 814

Our members continue in refining their skills and discovering new specialties, admiring and learning from our aquatic environment while "blowing bubbles" together in great camaraderie.
